Marriott's Mai Khao Resort - Phuket

Clean, tight place, secure, friendly staff and great reception

Location

The room was well equipped.The staff was very friendly and helpful, you feel that they are one of your family. The room was big and clean. I didn't use any insect repellent.The Spa in the other jw marriot location was very good.Kids club offer switch devices. They have a lot of activities.

I wish they add espresso machine.Kids club was a pit small.The cleanness of billiards and baby-foot and the kids club. The smell of the reception is a pit annoying.I wish they offer more types of massages.

Wonderful resort with great facilities. Pool and gym were excellent and loads of activities. Shops nearby

Very nice hotel, good breakfast. Fantastic room with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, spacious living room area. Nice swimming pool. Golf cart shuttle to the beach. Clean beach. ( no chairs on the beach ) Good hotel for people who want quietness. Short walk to some shops and restaurants. NO LOUD TOURISTS. Near the airport.

Not next to the beach, so no chairs to sit on. Small shopping street, if you want more entertainment, the hotel is a bit far from other possibilities. Chairs can be rented from local stalls.

Beautiful and access to beach front via buggy service.

The only issue is that it’s far from main city area of Phuket - so it’s more if you want to be in a quieter part of Phuket and enjoy the resort vibe as opposed being in the heart of the city/bustling areas

Upon arrival the staff could not do more for my family. The room was exceptional and the facilities were great. The kids club activities are so good.

Pool facilities were great for both kids and adults. Breakfast buffet was very nice and restaurant was also good for dinner. Kitchen in the apartment was very well equipped.

The kids club was a bit basic. The staff at the club was not proactive at all. Rooms were very humid which made staying inside and sleeping uncomfortable. They do have dehumidifiers but we had to request them which we did but only after two days. I recommend to have at least one per unit at all times.

Wifi unstable and laggy when screencast. Wish there are more channels such as HBO or Netflix where we can sign in.Breakfast place was not nice, and hot as there is no aircon.But the staff are friendly. Especially room service staff who will set up your table when brought in the food.Love the rooms as our place is spacious, very cozy and well facilitated. Except sofa bed is not flexible enough to open to sleep and close when not needed.

How wonderful to enjoy the beauties of Phuket from the most comfortable and stylish base of your own private appartment. We enjoyed the autonomy that having our own kitchen afforded. The facilities were perfect, the appartment very spacious and furnished with everything we needed to cook and eat by ourselves. It was lovely to mix and match with the delicous restaurants offer on site and nearby. The little Turtle Village close by was very convenient to provide whatever supplies we needed.

There is nothing we could have wanted differently. The service was exceptional, the staff extremely kind, attentive and efficient. The housekeeping in particular was superb, and our flat kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. We enjoyed the pleasant walk to the beach through the beautiful neighbouring resorts and the calm and simplicity of atmosphere "at home". Just the peaceful stay we were after.

It is a cozy size with wonderful activities to keep the kids 6 and 8 occupied. There’s even have activities for adults. Breakfast is excellent. And our room at the ground floor is excellent for accessing the pool area.

Furniture is abit old but still acceptable. The carpets in the room doesn’t feel clean. Abit far from the beach.

I like the close proximity to Turtle Village but that was it.

The pool area was very small. Breakfast was so-so. Far to get to the beach. Worse thing was NO USE of the facilities next door. We like using the Bar and pool side for Lunch and Early evening drinks. And we like using the Beach Massage.

Well, everything was perfect. The family enjoyed the time, especially kids' club activities

The checkout time 10 clock is really not flexible since the check-in time is 16:00 hours.

We’ve been coming to this resort the past 15 years. It’s well maintained and everything is like new. Turtle village has grown and there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The staff are amazing. Everyone that works there is genuinely happy and nice. Please don’t book anywhere else in Phuket. This is the place to stay. 100% worth the money.

There is nothing that we didn’t like.

The hotel is unique and near to turtle village which made our stay amazing. We have booked two bedroom and the apartment was big enough to accommodate and there were washing machine and clothes dryer and the activities in the hotel were literally enjoyable and the kids enjoys mini chef sushi and movie under star. They took care of our kids while we relaxed with billiard and cycling. The employees smile and the service is great. The hotel is near turtle village where they’re 7-11 and near Thai Restaurants. We enjoyed and the kids didn’t want to leave even though we were 4 nights but it was not enough.Thank you very much for the best experience.

Beautiful large apartments. Nice tourists small shopping center with good restaurants 3 minutes walk.

Location is far away and beach is beautiful but not inviting (not flat nor calm).

It was authentic, spacious, beautiful and calm. Exactly what we wanted.

Could have more restaurant options, but the food we gad was great! And it was easy to get to other hotels and restaurants nearby.
